The Academy of Mixed Martial Science is the only place on the Westside of Los Angeles that teaches REAL, AUTHENTIC Muay Thai (Thai Boxing). Just as important as the techniques are the traditions, Thai culture, and spiritual components of Muay Thai. More than a typical Muay Thai or MMA Gym, AMMS is a martial academy, similar to a private school. Classes in Thai Boxing, including underlying buddhist theory, wai kru boxing dance, and Thai Boxing tradition, are headed by Kru Paulo Tocha, who lived, trained, and fought in Thailand for over a decade and has trained some the biggest Thai and American Muay Thai champions. 



Our Adult MMA & Muay Thai members and Kids Karate students become part of a tradition,
a lineage, and a lifestyle, testing through several ranks and following a precise and intricately developed curriculum to not only develop the most well-rounded martial arts practitioners, but to develop more confident, thoughtful, and self-aware human beings.

Kru Tocha is Vice President of The USMTA, who has certified Kru Jeremy. In addition to Muay Thai, AMMS instructors come from a variety of renowned lineages in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, Kickboxing, Karate and other martial arts.
